Fenerbahce are weighing up a move for Leicester City’s out-of-favour striker Islam Slimani.
The Yellow Canaries have broadened their search for a striker after failing to land Bas Dost.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Takvim, Fenerbahce’s director of football Damien Comolli has established contact with Slimani’s representatives.
Per the source, Fenerbahce will table an official loan-bid for the Algeria international.
Slimani is expected to leave Leicester City this summer after falling out of favour with manager Claud Puel. The 30-year-old spent the second half of last season out on loan with Newcastle United.
The former Sporting Lisbon man netted five goals in 21 appearances in all competitions last season.

Fenerbahce are expected to bolster their attacking options over the summer transfer window after offloading both Vincent Janssen and Fernandao.
Slimani joined Leicester City for a club record £28 million back in August 2016. The Algeria international has three years remaining on his contract with the Foxes.
