Besiktas reject Fulham transfer bid for Spanish star and hold out for increased offer

Fulham have suffered a major set back in the race to sign Besiktas star goalkeeper Fabri.

The London based club are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after selling David Button to Brighton and Hove Albion last week.

Fulham were subsequently linked with a move for the Spanish goalkeeper Fabri.

However, a source close to Besiktas has revealed to that Besiktas have rejected an increased £5 million offer from Fulham for Fabri.

The Black Eagles are holding out for a bid in the region of £7.5 million for their star asset. Per the source, while Besiktas would like to keep Fabri, they do not want to risk losing the 30-year-old for free next summer.
