Euro Giants Step Up Efforts To Sign Man United Target Who Wants West Ham Exit

Besiktas have stepped up efforts to sign West Ham forward Javier Hernandez after receiving positive feedback from his representatives.

A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that the club are growing increasingly confident of landing the Mexico international.

Hernandez’s representatives have informed Besiktas they would be open to the move.

The Black Eagles have yet to reach an agreement with West Ham.

The Istanbul giants want to sign Hernandez on a permanent deal if the Hammers are willing to accept a fee in the region of €6.5 million.

Alternatively, the reigning Super Lig champions would be open to a loan move with a buyout clause option.

Hernandez faces an uncertain future at West Ham following the appointment of David Moyes.

Chicharito’s agent Eduardo Hernandez has confirmed his client wants a West Ham exit and that a number of clubs are interested.

“There are a number of clubs interested in his services, he’s a player everyone knows and is incredibly professional,” Hernandez said on Monday on Agenda FOX Sports.

“Our primary focus is a club in which [Chicharito] can play the most games possible,” Hernandez said. “That’s the most important.

“Javier has asked personally for it. He’s commented, stated and demanded that we look for a club that really needs a player with his characteristics because what he wants is to play and play and play.”

Besiktas remain in the hunt for a striker after selling Cenk Tosun to Everton in January.

The Eagles could however, face competition from Manchester United for Chicharito.

The Premier League giants made a preliminary inquiry for the Mexico international according to the Telegraph.

Besiktas have reached an agreement with Orlando City forward Cyle Larin but he is viewed by the club as a long-term prospect and is likely to be loaned out.

The Istanbul giants have also reached an agreement with Brazilian striker Vagner Love to add further depth.

Besiktas would be able to offer Champions League and regular first team football if Hernandez were to make the move.

The Mexico international would be signed as the sides new first-choice forward, replacing Tosun and knocking Alvaro Negredo down in the pecking order.
