Euro giants strike deal with Barcelona to sign £24m star midfielder, Man United boss Mourinho also interested
Galatasaray have struck a deal with Barcelona to sign the Turkey international captain Arda Turan.
According to TalkSport, the Istanbul giants managed to agree a two-year loan deal with Barcelona for the 30-year-old.
Turan is expected to leave Barcelona in the near future after falling out of favour with manager Ernesto Valverde.
The newly appointed manager has left Turan out of his squad for Barcelona’s first two La Liga games of the season.
According to the Spanish outlet AS, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho also held a keen interest in signing Turan over the summer.

The 30-year-old joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid for £24 million two years ago.
Turan is no stranger to Galatasaray. The flamboyant midfielder started out as a ball-boy for the Istanbul giants before going onto captain the side.
The former Atletico Madrid man provided seven assists and scored 13 goals in 30 appearances for Barca last season.
