Fenerbahce have stepped up their interest in Manchester City star defender Eliaquim Mangala.
The France international has been linked with a move away from City after falling out of favour with Pep Guardiola. The powerful centre-back spent last season out on loan with Valencia.
According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Fenerbahce have tabled an offer for the 27-year-old.
Per the source, the Yellow Canaries initially wanted to sign Mangala on loan, however, Man City blocked the move as the player has under 12 months remaining on his contract.
The report goes onto state that Fenerbahce have tabled a fresh offer for Mangala as they look to bolster their defensive options over the summer.
Mangala was left out of Guardiola’s squad which travelled to the USA for pre-season training.
