Besiktas are keen to extend the contract of their star midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup however, they have hit a stumbling block.
The Istanbul giants are desperate to remove the sell-on fee agreed with Arsenal when they signed him back in 2012.
Currently, if Besiktas were to sell Ozyakup they would have to pass on 30% of the fee to the north London based club.
According to the Turkish outlet HaberTurk, Besiktas want to hold talks with Arsenal to agree on a fee to cancel the clause.
Per the source Besiktas previously offered €1.5m to Arsenal to cancel the clause, however, the English club rejected the deal.

Besiktas will, however, need to act fast as Ozyakup has under three-months left on his current contract with the Black Eagles.
Everton and Newcastle United have both been linked with moves for the 25-year-old in recent months.
Besiktas are back in action this weekend when they take on Alanyaspor. Arsenal meanwhile face Soke City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
