Euro giants to use “Emre Can” tactic to sign £72m Manchester United star forward

Serie A Champions Juventus managed to sign Liverpool’s combative midfielder Emre Can on a free this summer after waiting for the Germany international’s contract with the Reds to expire.

Can put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal with the Italian giants last week and Juventus have now set their sights on Manchester United’s star forward Anthony Martial.

According to the Italian outlet Tuttosport, Juventus are planning to replicate the tactic they used to sign Emre Can on Martial.

Per the source, Juve are unwilling to match the £72 million price tag Manchester United have set on the France international. Tuttosport goes into state that Juventus will instead – as they did with Emre Can – wait until Martial’s contract runs down.

Martial has been linked with a United exit after turning down the Red Devils latest contract offer. According to France Football, Jose Mourinho is even prepared to let the 22-year-old leave this summer.

Can completed his move to Juventus earlier this month and will wear the No.23 jersey for the Italian club.
