Everton Ace Being Prepared As Back Up Transfer Option For Champions League Side

Galatasaray are lining up Everton Oumar Niasse as a back-up option ahead of the transfer deadline on September 1.

The Lions are desperate to land a new striker before the transfer window slams shut after selling their top goalscorer Bafetemi Gomis.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Everton’s Oumar Niasse is one of several names on Fatih Terim’s transfer shortlist.

Per the source, if Galatasaray are unable to land Anthony Modeste from the Chinese club Quanjian, they will table an offer for Niasse.

Niasse hasn’t started a game for Everton this season and was an unused substitute during the Toffees 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

However, Everton would not be able to sign a replacement until January 1st.

Niasse is no stranger to the Turkish Super Lig after spending three years with Akhisar Belediyepor. The Senegal international still has two-years remaining on his contract with Everton.

The Merseyside based club take on Huddersfield in the Premier League this weekend.
