Everton Ace Nears Summer Exit As Champions League Side Make Progress In Transfer Talks

Galatasaray are closing in on Everton striker Oumar Niasse according to the latest reports from Turkey.

The Lions are on the hunt for a new centre-back after offloading Bafatemi Gomis last week.

Niasse has been linked with a move to Galatasaray over the last two seasons.

According to the Milliyet, Galatasaray are making progress in transfer negotiations with Everton.

Per the source, Galatasaray will use the money used by the sale of Gomis to sign Niasse.

Milliyet goes onto state that Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim is a big fan of Niasse and wants to see the Senegal at the club before the transfer window slams shut on September 1.

However, it is unclear whether Everton boss Marco Silva will green light Niasse’s exit. The 27-year-old has already made two Premier League appearances for the Toffees this season.
