Everton boss Marco Silva has tipped Cenk Tosun to go on a goalscoring run following his weekend success.
The Turkey international netted Everton’s second goal during their 3-0 win over Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
Tosun has struggled to find the back of the net this season and only broke his goalscoring drought over the weekend.
Silva believes the £26 million signing is set for a positive run.
“It is good for his confidence and it is really important he scored,” Silva told reporters after Saturday’s game.
“It is really important for all our strikers (to score), and of course, for him as well.
“I know it was difficult for him in the game against West Ham when he had a chance and didn’t score, but this is football.
“I am sure now he will get a lot of confidence from this. This will be good for him.”

Tosun started for Everton during their defeat to Southampton on Tuesday evening but was unable to get himself on the scoresheet. The Turkey international did, however, score from the penalty spot during the shootout.
Everton were eliminated by Southampton after Richarlison missed his spot kick.
Everton are back in action this weekend when they take on Leicester City in the Premier League.
