Everton Defensive Target Could See Value Increase After Shutting Out Messi & Aguero In Victory Over Argentina

Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida put on a stellar defensive display for Croatia against Argentina in the World Cup on Thursday.

Turkish-Football reported Everton as expressing an interest in the 29-year-old.

The Toffees have enquired about the availability of the powerful defender.

Per the source, Besiktas are willing to sell Vida this summer for the right price.

Fulham and West Ham have also been keeping tabs on the defender.

The 1.84m defender earns €3 million per season at the Istanbul based club.

The Black Eagles missed out on Champions League next season after finishing the Super Lig in fourth place and are considering reducing their wage bill as a result.

The Black Eagles will not sell Vida until after the World Cup, anticipating an increase in his value.
