Everton Enter Talks Over £14m Stoke City Star, Super Lig Giants Receive Transfer Blow

Everton have entered talks with Stoke City over a swap deal that would send Badou N’Diaye to Goodison Park and Ashley Williams to the Bet365 Stadium according to Sky Sports.

The latest development will serve as a transfer blow to Galatasaray who have been working on bring Ndiaye back to Istanbul over the summer after selling him for £14m [Stoke Sentinel] in January.

The Senegal international impressed despite Stoke getting relegated to the Championship last season.

Ndiaye is keen on returning to the Premier League next season despite only recently joining Stoke.

The 27-year-old’s agent William D’Avilla recently said that the Potters have two £17.8m [€20m] offers from Premier League sides and that Galatasaray are still in contention.

“Ndiaye does not want to play in the Championship,” D’Avilla said on Lig Radyo.

“He wants Premier League football and has offers from both England and Turkey. 

“There are two clubs that have offered £17.7m [€20m]. Two surprise names and we have already agreed with Stoke that he will leave.”

Galatasaray were banking on Ndiaye not finding a new club before the end of the transfer window and forcing through a late loan deal.

The Everton move could however, dismantle the Lions plans. Ndiaye would prefer a move to the Premier League over returning to the Super Lig.
