Everton will make Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere a major summer target according to the Mirror.
Per the source, Everton boss Ronald Koeman is an admirer of the England international who is currently on long at Bournemouth.
Wilshere currently has 18-months remaining on his contract and has yet to sign an extension with the Gunners.
The experienced midfielder left Arsenal in pursuit of regular playing time at Bournemouth.
Wilshere has no shortage of suitors as Manchester City have also expressed an interest.
Everton are also reported to be keen on signing Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for the winter transfer window but he wants a creative midfielder as well.
The 25-year-old midfielder could however, earn himself a return to first team football at Arsenal if he manages to keep performing at the same level and avoid injuries – which wrecked his previous seasons at the North London based outfit.
The report claims that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering offering Wilshere a contract extension but his current future remains in the balance.
Wilshere has one assist but has failed to find the back of the net in 17 Premier League appearances for Bournemouth this season.
