Porto star forward and Algeria international Yacine Brahimi could be on his way out of FC Porto this summer.

The 28-year-old has attracted the attention of clubs across Europe following a string of impressive displays both in the Portuguese League and in Europe.

According to the Turkish outlet A Spor, Brahimi is awaiting an offer from Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas. Per the source, the Black Eagles are set to face serious competition from Everton.

Brahimi’s contract with Porto expires in a little over 12 months meaning he may be available at a cut-price transfer fee this summer.

However, the report from A Spor has come shortly after Brahimi’s agent ruled out a move to the Turkish Super Lig.

“There remains one year of contract for Brahimi with FC Porto,” Alonso was quoted as saying by French outlet Le Buteur.

“At the moment, I can tell you that it is impossible to see the player join the Turkish championship. There is 0% [chance] that happens. Coming to Turkey is not part of the player’s career plan.”

Brahimi has registered ten assists and ten goals in 43 appearances for Porto in all competitions this season.

Everton take on an in-form Newcastle United in the Premier League this weekend at Goodison Park.
