Everton’s out-of-favour midfielder Davy Klaassen has been linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig in recent weeks.
According to SkySports, Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas are interested in signing Klaassen this summer. Per the source, the Black Eagles want to sign Klaassen on a 12-month loan deal with an option to buy included.
The Netherlands international has struggled since his £23.6 million move from Ajax last summer. Klaassen made just seven appearances for the Toffees this season.
After reports of Klassen’s potential departure broke, Everton fans took to social media to discuss the 25-year-old’s future.
It’s fair to say that Everton fans are split on whether to sell the former Ajax midfielder or to give him another chance.
No point letting anyone over 20 go on loan. Sale or stay and fight!

Tell them no deal, we need to give him a run in the team as he is somebody who can bring a bit more quality to the team

Keep him or get rid,

We have to be ruthless. 2 for each position end of. There can’t be sentiment. On top of a cull we will want players in that are better than what we have. If no shaving of the squad then we end up like last year with too many in one position and too little in others

Perhaps a loan deal for Davy could be beneficial for the player. That's of course if Marco Silva doesn't intend to play him often. #EFC

People on here are so deluded. He has gone through 3 managers and not played. He is happy on his 120k a week which he will get nowhere else.

Not permanent? Too bad.

However, Klaassen has outlined his desire to remain at Everton despite a difficult 12 months.
Besiktas are on the hunt for a new attacking midfielder as Anderson Talisca’s loan-deal is set to expire at the end of June.
