Everton & Newcastle Suffer Transfer Blow As Turkish Giants Strike Deal With Sporting Lisbon Star

Sporting Lisbon striker Bas Dost had been linked with Everton and Newcastle United earlier this month in The Sun.

BEIN Turkey claim that Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli has reached an agreement with the Portuguese giants over the transfer of Dost.

Turkish-Football understand talks have reached an advanced level but we have not been informed of a deal being in place.

Fenerbahce have yet to release a statement regarding the latest reports.

Dost has an impressive record for the Portuguese outfit, scoring 70 goals in 90 games.

The 1.96m tall striker has another two-years remaining on his contract but is likely to leave following the horrific attack by Sporting fans on players at the club’s training ground last month.
