Everton outcast Cenk Tosun is being linked with a return to Besiktas.

A Besiktas insider informed Turkish-Football that Tosun is among several targets on the club shortlist this January.

The Black-Whites would be interested in the Turkey international on a loan move as they have struggled for goals this term.

Tosun meanwhile, wants to continue fighting for his place in the Everton team and is not prepared to leave on a permanent move.

A loan could however, afford him regular playing time and give him the chance to prove himself to Everton.

The Black Eagles sold Tosun to Everton in January 2018 and despite a bright start he has struggled for playing time since Marco Silva’s appointment as manager replacing Sam Allardyce.

Tosun has one assist in just two appearances in all competitions for the Toffees this season.

The Turkey international has played a total of just 51 minutes.

Despite struggling for playing time at Everton, Tosun is top scorer in the Euro 2020 qualification Group H with five goals in a group that features France and Iceland.
