Everton Outcast Offered Chance To Return To Turkey After Rejecting Russia Move

Trabzonspor have offered Everton outcast Oumar Niasse the chance to return to Turkey according to Fotospor.

Per the source, the Black Sea based outfit have contacted Niasse who will be a free agent at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has just six months remaining on his contract and is unlikely to be given an extension.

Niasse would be brought in as an alternative to Alexander Sorloth who is on a two-year loan from Crystal Palace.

Sorloth was struggling for form at Palace but has 21 goals and six assists in all competitions for the Claret-Blues this term.

Trabzonspor feel they can transform Niasse’s fortunes as well and are keen on the striker joining at the end of the season.

Niasse is familiar with the Super Lig having previously played in Turkey and he has reportedly informed the Black Sea based club that he would be happy to return to the country.

The report goes onto state that Niasse recently rejected a return to Russia after receiving offers.

Niasse initially made a name for himself in Turkey at Akhisar before moving to Lokomotiv Moscow and then to Everton.

The striker has played just 199 minutes in all competitions this season but has still managed to score two goals.
