Everton Predicted Lineup Against Liverpool – Big Sam Sweats Over Midfielder Injury

Everton take on Liverpool at Goodison Park on Saturday hoping to win their first Merseyside derby since 2010.

Sam Allardyce will be sweating over the fitness of Idrissa Gana Gueye heading into the game.

The Ghana international has recovered from injury but faces a race against time for fitness.

Gylfi Sigurdsson meanwhile is still some weeks away from making a return.

Defence

Jordan Pickford is likely to resume his place in goal, while Leighton Baines. Phil Jagielka, Michael Keane and Seamus Coleman should make up the back four.

Midfield

Sam Allardyce faces a tougher task picking his midfielder. The Wayne Rooney and Morgan Schneiderlin midfielder imploded against Manchester City last week.

Therefore we could see Davies be drafted in alongside Rooney.

Attack

Theo Walcott and Bolasie are likely to start out wide with Calvert-Lewin playing in behind Cenk Tosun who should start up front.

The Turkey international is set to start his first Merseyside derby against the Reds.

Tosun has scored four goals in his last four games and has a good record in derby games. The 26-year-old scored in his most recent derby game for former club Besiktas in the 3-0 win over Galatasaray.
