Everton have received a boost in the race to sign Anderlecht forward Mahmoud Hassan, commonly known as Trezeguet.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form this season during his loan spell with Turkish side Kasimpasa.
However, the Turkish outlet Fanatik claim that Kasimpasa do not have the funds to match Trezeguet’s £4 million release clause. Per the source, the Istanbul based club want to loan him for another season.
Meanwhile, Yeni Safak have reported that Everton has joined Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas in the race to sign the Anderlecht forward this summer.

The Egyptian star has provided five assists and scored 13 goals in 28 appearances for Kasimpasa this season.
Yeni Safak goes onto state that Anderlecht doesn’t want to sell Trezeguet before the World Cup as his value may increase while playing for Egypt in Russia this summer.
Everton are back in action this weekend when they travel to relegation battlers Swansea City in the Premier League. Sam Allardyce’s side were held to a 0-0 draw by Liverpool in the Merseyside derby last week.
