Everton Reveal Squad Ahead Of Liverpool Clash – Big Sam Receives Double Boost

Everton take on Liverpool at Goodison Park on Saturday in the Merseyside Derby.

Liverpool are unbeaten in 16 games in all competitions against Everton (W8, D8) which is their longest run without defeat against their cross-city rivals.

The Reds are however, missing several key players heading into the clash and could be without Emre Can as well as Mohamed Salah.

Everton meanwhile have better news on the injury front.

Big Sam is likely to welcome back Idrissa Gueye. The midfielder missed the 3-1 defeat against Manchester City with a hamstring problem but took part in a full training session on Friday.

Gueye has made the squad as has Ashley Williams is also back after serving a three-match suspension.

Eliaquim Mangala, James McCarthy, Mason Holgate and Gylfi Sigurdsson are however, all out injured.

Cenk Tosun has made the squad and could be set to start his first Merseyside Derby.

The Turkey international has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month after scoring four goals in March.
