Everton Star Could Break Scoring Record Against Man City

Everton take on Manchester City in the Premier League in their first game after the international break.

The Toffees headed into the break on a high winning back to back games including their first away win of 2018 against Stoke City.

Cenk Tosun scored in both victories, in fact, he has scored in the Merseyside based sides last three games culminating in a brace against the Potters.

City will undoubtedly be Tosun’s toughest test yet but if he does manage to find the back of the net again he will become the first Turkish international to do so in Premier League history.

Tosun will also have the chance to score his second goal at Goodison Park in the process.

Tosun did not complete 90 minutes in either game and has returned to England match fit.

The striker will be well familiar with Ilkay Gundogan who is currently his neighbor.

Both players were born in Germany into Turkish families, Gundogan represents his country of birth at international level while Tosun plays for Turkey.

Tosun is also a neighbor of City boss Pep Guardiola. Perhaps he’ll get a glimpse of the gameplan beforehand!
