Everton Star Delivers Super Lig Giants Transfer Blow After Reaching Deal-In-Principle With Middlesbrough

Yannick Bolasie

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie delivered Fenerbahce a transfer blow after reaching a deal-in-principle with Middlesbrough.

The Teeside Live report that Boro are closing in on the loan signing of the Congo international.

Per the source, the fine detail of the deal has yet to be agreed but talks have reached an advanced stage.

Bolasie is expected to complete his move to the Championship side who are still able to make loan signings – unlike Premier League sides – despite the transfer window having shut.

Fenerbahce have been linked with the 29-year-old throughout the summer.

A source close to the Yellow-Navy Blues revealed to Turkish-Football that the club are keen on signing the winger on loan as well and sporting director Damien Comolli has held on and off talks.

The problem the Super Lig side have is that while Bolasie is keen on the move his family are settled in England and do not want to leave.

Fenerbahce have been trying to find a compromise but with the Everton outcast nearing a move to Boro it looks unlikely that he will be move to Turkey.
