‘Everton Is Starting To Feel Like Home’ – Cenk Tosun Reveals He Is Settling In Despite Reports Claiming He Is Unhappy

Everton January signing Cenk Tosun has struggled for playing time recently, being dropped in favor of Oumar Niasse for the past two games.

Reports in Turkey have claimed that Tosun is growing frustrated with his role and that he has considered returning to Turkey.

Tosun has however, refuted those rumors and has actually said he is starting to settle into life in England.

The Turkey international was speaking at the Everton season ticket event- which also included Tom Davies, Jonjoe Kenny and Leighton Baines.

The 26-year-old also underlined that the Everton fans have made him feel really welcome.

“I am settling quickly,” Tosun said. “It has been easy to settle in so far. The experienced players have really helped me and the fans have been great to me. It has been really nice to play in front of them.”

“It was great to meet the fans tonight. It was nice to be interviewed up on stage and share some things with those that were there. Everton is starting to feel like home now. I have been here for a month now and England and Everton have become my home for sure.”

Tosun has yet to score or provide an assist for the Toffees but he has started just two games since joining from Besiktas where he had an impressive record.

The 26-year-old scored four times and provided two assists for the Black Eagles in the Champions League.

Besiktas topped Group G as undefeated leaders thanks to the contributions of Tosun.

It remains to be seen whether Sam Allardyce will give the striker the nod against Crystal Palace on Saturday or stick with Niasse.
