Oumar Niasse looks to be a step closer to an exit from Everton after being omitted from the squad which takes on Barnsley in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Niasse was keen to fight for his future at Everton and win over new manager Ronald Koeman. However, after being left out of the squad the 26-year-old knows his ‘Everton days are numbered’.
Fotomac report that Galatasaray are in talks to loan Niasse this summer, just six months after the Senegal international joined Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow.
Senegal FA president Augustin Senghor sparked further speculation while speaking to reporters about Niasse’e charitable efforts and contributions to the football federation, he said he hopes the Everton striker is successful in Turkey next season.
Niasse previously played for Akhisar Belediyespor in the Turkish Super lig where he scored 15 goals in 40 appearances.
