Everton Striker Cenk Tosun Will Be Told To Leave If €30m Brazilian Striker Joins In January, Besiktas Keen

Everton striker Cenk Tosun has been linked with a return to his former club Besiktas yet again in the Turkish media.

The Aksam newspaper claim that the Turkey international could be on his way back to Besiktas this January.

Per the source, the Toffees are planning to replace the 27-year-old striker with Gabriel Barbosa.

The Premier League outfit are plotting a move that could reach €30m.

Tosun would be told he can leave if Everton sign the Brazilian forward.

Besiktas are desperate for a striker over the winter transfer window after a disappointing campaign from Vagner Love, Mustafa Pektemek and Cyle Larin.

Tosun left Besiktas on good terms and would be welcome back but the Super Lig side would struggle to sign him on a permanent deal or cover his current wages.

The last time the Everton man was linked with a January exit was just a few weeks ago and head coach Marco Silva ruled out any possibility of him leaving.

Silva underlined that Tosun is happy at Everton.

Tosun has two goals and two assists in 10 Premier League appearances this term but has started the last six games on the bench.
