Everton target Oguzhan Özyakup was asked to clarify his future by Turkish sports outlet NTV.
The Turkey international has been linked with a move to the Merseyside based club in recent weeks. Ozyakup – who is contracted to Besiktas – could be on the move this summer when his deal with the Istanbul giants expires.
NTV asked Özyakup whether he will be a Besiktas player next season. The 25-year-old was however coy on his future and stated that Besiktas club President Fikret Orman will make a statement regarding his future in the coming days.

“I don’t want to comment on the speculation. Our president Fikret Orman will make the necessary statement in the coming days,” Özyakup told NTV.
Özyakup is currently on international duty with the Turkey national team which will take on Iran on Monday evening.
The midfield playmaker is no stranger to English football after spending several seasons with Arsenal. Ozyakup made just two appearances under Arsene Wenger at the Emirates before being shipped off to Besiktas for just £400,000 in 2012.
