Everton have been scouting Schalke wonder kid Gorkem Can sources close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football.
The Toffees are one of several sides keepıng tabs on the hıght rated center-back.
Can has been made captain of the U19 side by highly acclaimed youth coach Norbert Elgert.
Elgert has been in charge of the Schalke’s under-19 side since 1996 and is responsible for producing some of the greatest talents in Germany football including Julian Draxler, Benedikt Howedes, Manuel Neuer, Mesut Ozil, Max Meyer and Leroy Sane.
Schalke’s first team coaches have enjoyed a regular supply of quality players as a result.
The U19 side won the league title in 2002, 2012 and 2014.
Can is one of the latest players to emerge from the Schalke youth system and has already started turning heads.

Originally a No 10, Elgert converted the rising star into a centre-back. As a result the youngster is highly technical and a rarity in his position being left-footed.
Can will represent Turkey at U19 level after playing for Germany at U15, U16 and U17.
The 18-year-old has the option to play for either the Crescent-Stars or Germany at senior international level.
