Sam Allardyce kept Palace in the Premier League season but he his Everton side have not exactly been in the best of form.
The Toffees are coming off the back of a 5-1 defeat to Arsenal and have won just once in the 2018.
Big Sam has received an injury boost in defense as Ramiro Funes Mori has been working on his match fitness and could be ready in time for the weekend clash.
Allardyce currently has no fresh injury concerns.

The Everton boss faces a tough choice over who to start upfront. Oumar Niasse has got the nod over the past two games but has taken just two shots and failed to score or provide an assist.
January signing Cenk Tosun is available after being dropped for Niasse over the past two games.
The Turkey international failed to score or assist in his first two starts for his new side.
Tosun did however, join Everton having scored 14 times and provided three assists for Besiktas.
Davy Klaassen has struggled for playing time at Everton this season, leaving their long-term futures in doubt.
Klaassen has not been named in an Everton squad in the Premier League since September.
Allardyce has however, signal that Klaassen could be integrated into the side at some stage this season.
“We could very well have a different player at the start of next season and, for him, he’s got to fight to see if he can get in this season and that may be the case later down the line,” Allardyce said.
