Everton transfer news: Croatian target confirms offers from Premier League & Turkey

Croatia international defender Domagoj Vida has attracted interest from across Europe this season.

Everton have been closely linked with the 27-year-old, as have Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

The Toffees have been joined by West Ham, Stoke City and Sunderland from the Premier League in the hunt to sign Vida according to the Mirror.

Speaking to Fotospor, Vida has confirmed receiving offers from the Premier League and Turkey.

“I have received offers, there are offers from Turkey, Spain and England,” Vida said.

“What I can say is that I do not currently want to play in Turkey but I will play in England or Spain.

“I will be playing in England or Spain next season.”

Vida has been closely linked with a move to Turkey over the past few weeks but it appears that a move to the Super Lig is no longer on the cards.

The powerful defender will have just 12 months remaining on his current deal at the end of the season.

Vida has three goals and two assists for Dynamo Kiev in 30 appearances this season in all competitions.

The Kiev ace has won two league titles, the Ukrainian Cup and the Ukrainian Super Cup since joining the club in 2013.

The versatile defensive player can play as a centre-back as well as a right-back.
