Everton transfer news: Euro giants set to hold talks with Toffees over transfer £13.5m striker

Fenerbahce are readying a new offer for out-of-favour Everton striker Oumar Niasse.

The Yellow Canaries tabled a bid for the 27-year-old over the summer transfer window but were unable to match the Merseyside based club’s demands.

Fenerbahce are keen to bolster their squad in January as they look to make a title push in the second half of the season. The Istanbul giants made a slow start to the season however, they have risen up into third place following three wins in a row.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Fenerbahce are planning to offload both Robin Van Persie and Fernandao next month.

The Yellow Canaries also made the signing of Niasse a top priority. Per the source, Fenerbahce officials will hold talks with Everton to try to iron out a deal.

Niasse is no stranger to the Turkish Super League after spending two years playing for Akhisar Belediyespor. The Senegal international joined Everton for £13.5 million back in February 2016.
