The Ukrainian side are understood to be holding out for €4 million. Vida will have 12 months remaining on his contract this summer.

Everton, West Ham and Stoke City are all in the hunt to sign Vida according to the Mirror.

Meanwhile the Sunderland Echo recently reported that Sunderland have a long-term interest in the Croatia international. The Echo stated that Sunderland targeted him last summer and during the January transfer window.

Sunderland’s chances of signing Vida may be hampered by their league status.

The Black Cats are at the bottom of the Premier League table and are favourites to be relegated. Sunderland host Manchester United at the Stadium of Light this weekend as they look to return to winning ways.
