Everton v Newcastle – Probable lineups – Sam Allardyce missing star playmaker while Cenk Tosun available for selection

Everton host Newcastle United at Goodison Park tonight has they look to return to winning ways.

The visitors come into tonight’s clash following four Premier League wins, including a victory over Arsenal. Everton will be confident having won seven of their last eight meetings with Newcastle United.

However, Manager Sam Allardyce has found himself under pressure from fans after failing to register a win in three weeks. A victory for the Toffees will see them leapfrog Leicester City into seventh spot.

January signing Cenk Tosun is expected to start for the home side tonight. The Turkey international has failed to find the back of the net in his last two games and will be desperate to get himself back on the scoresheet.

Everton will be without Mason Holgate, Eliaquim Mangala, Gylfi Sigurðsson and James McCarthy due to injuries.

Meanwhile, Christian Atsu is out of Newcastle’s trip to Everton as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
