Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have joined Everton and West Ham United in the race to sign Chievo Verona playmaker Samuel Bastien this summer.
Bastien joined Chievo from Anderlecht back in 2016 and has attracted the interest of clubs across Europe following an impressive season for the Serie A club.
According to L’Equipe, both, Everton and West Ham have been keeping tabs on the 21-year-old. Per the source, OC Nice and Napoli are also understood to be interested in signing Bastien.
Meanwhile, Italian outlet L’arena has also linked Galatasaray with a move for the Belgium U21 international. Bastien can play as a midfield playmaker or as a box-to-box midfielder.
Verona may be forced into selling their star asset this summer as he has just 12 months remaining on his contract with the Serie A club. Bastien scored one goal in 22 Serie A appearances for Verona this season.
Galatasaray will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season after lifting the Turkish Super Lig trophy earlier this month.
