Roma snapped up Cengiz Under on a £12 million move from Basaksehir last summer.
Under parted ways with the Istanbul based outfit as the most expensive Turkey international to leave the Super Lig but is already looking like a bargain.
After an impressive debut season breaking into the first-team, scoring eight goals and providing two assists, the Giallorossi have decided to expand their scouting network across Turkey.
Two players on the club’s radar are Trabzonspor wonderkid Sefa Akgun and Galatasaray rising star Yunus Akgun.
Despite both players being aged 17 and sharing the same surname they are not actually related.
They are however, represented by the same agent, Hasan Anil Eken.

“Monchi sent his scouts to watch both players, Roma are keeping close tabs on them,” Eken said.
“Roma are keen on both players but there are other Italian clubs and some Swiss and Spanish clubs monitoring the situation.”
Yunus Akgun is one of the most promising youngsters in the Galatasaray academy and has another two-years remaining on his current deal.
Akgun wrapped up the season scoring six times in 21 games for the U19 side.
The winger played a starring role in the U17 Turkey national team that finished the 2017 U17 European Championship in 3rd place.
Sefa Akgun has already been promoted to the Trabzonspor U21 side but has yet to sign a professional contract.
The Black Sea based outfit want Akgun to follow in the footsteps of 21-year-old Yusuf Yazici and 19-year-old Abdulkadir Omur who rose through the club ranks before signing professional deals.
The rising star also played a key role in the same U17 Turkey national team side.
