“Experts predictions” Mesut Ozil destroys Danny Murphy & other pundits after predicting Arsenal defeat to Chelsea
Mesut Ozil has slammed several football pundits for their pre-game predictions for Arsenal’s FA Cup clash with Chelsea.
The Gunners ended up as 2-1 victors on the night and won their third FA Cup in four years.
Chelsea were heavy favourites going into the game and the majority of pundits tipped the Blues for a comfortable victory.
Ozil shared a photo of Danny Murphy and five other pundits who all predicted an Arsenal defeat. The 28-year-old included the following caption, “Experts predictions.”

Former Tottenham midfielder Murphy criticised Ozil in the lead-up to the game. Murphy claimed that Ozil is not as good as either his teammate Alexis Sanchez or Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
“Mesut Ozil is not in the same bracket as Hazard or Sanchez because he does not have their ability to change a game quickly,” Murphy told the Standard.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has won the FA Cup for a record seventh time. However his future at the north London is cast in doubt with his contract expires this summer.
Ozil’s future at Arsenal is also a mystery as he has just 12 months remaining on his contract with the Gunners.
Arsenal will miss out on UEFA Champions League next season after ending up fifth in the Premier League.
