Barcelona fans will have to wait until January to see their record summer signing Arda Turan in action for the club but they got a taster of what is in store following the Turkey v Latvia Euro 2016 qualification game.
Turan is unable to play for Barcelona until January due to the FIFA transfer ban currently in place. The La Liga champions were able to sign players over the summer but cannot register any new signings until the turn of the year.
The ban does not however, apply to international games. Turan started in the 1-1 draw against Latvia and despite an impressive performance and an assist his side were unable to get all three points.

Turkey were leading until the first minute of additional time when Latvia equalised and delivered a blow to the Crescent-Stars chances of booking a place in the Euro 2016 tournament.
The Turkish national side take on the Netherlands next at the Konya Torku Arena and will overtake them and move into third place with a win.
