England beat Turkey 2-1 at the Etihad in the first of their Euro 2016 warm-up games.

There was a lot of talk about potential crowd trouble before the game but there were hardly any major incidents. In fact as this tweet shows the fans got along quite well. We were at the game and can confirm that there was no problems before, during or afterwards.

Harry Kane scored the opener for England but as the replays show it was clearly offside.

Turkish fans were generally not too dissatisfied. It was a decent performance away to England especially when you consider Harry Kane’s goal should not have stood.
