Fatih Terim admits he had to rethink tactics [divider]
Turkish national team coach Fatih Terim admitted that he had to rethink his tactics ahead of the Netherlands game.
Turkey ended up holding the Dutch to a 1-1 draw at the Amsterdam Arena and held the lead for much of the game.
“So we have to continue working and even improve. We showed a lot of teamwork today and from experience we know that if you lose focus for a second against the Netherlands they will punish you. We had to rethink our tactics and I am very proud of how my team performed on the pitch,” Terim told the official UEFA website.

Terim had a number of missing players including Arda Turan and Ömer Toprak.
The experienced manager made a number of changes and played a counter attacking style against Netherlands.
The Crescent-Stars would have overtaken Netherlands and moved into third place in Group A on seven points had they won.
The Dutch remain in third place following the draw, increasing their points tally to seven.
