Liverpool’s young striker Samed Yeşil is set to play an important role at his new club according to TribalFootball.
The report goes onto state that Yeşil is held in high regard by FC Luzern coach Markus Babbel.
Yeşil is currently on a season long loan at FC Luzern from Liverpool. Luzern is currently managed by the former Red’s player Markus Babbel.
“After his break, Samed needs a few weeks until his physical condition will be at 100 percent. According to Markus Babbel, he then will be able to play an important role as a striker (for us),” Fischer told Tribalfootball.
Yeşil joined Liverpool from the Bundesliga side Bayern Leverkusen 2012 for £1 million. The Liverpool Echo states that the Merseyside club have decided to send the 21-year-old out to aid his development.
The young striker has featured for all of Germany’s youth teams from Under-16 to U19 and he is available also to play for the Turkish national team.
Luzern sit in forth place in the league with 20 points in 13 games. Marcus Bable’s side take on St. Gallen next weekend.
