FC Porto v Liverpool – Predicted lineups – Star midfielder ruled out while Klopp makes goalkeeper decision

Liverpool will be looking to maintain their winning run of form when they take on FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League

The clash takes place at the Estadio do Dragao while kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).

Liverpool topped Group E having scored an impressive 23 goals in six games. The Reds have not qualified to the quarterfinals since 2009.

Jurgen Klopp will have a decision to make in midfield following the suspension to Emre Can. Meanwhile, Joe Gomez and Nathaniel Clyne are ruled out with injuries.

The German tactician has also stated that he will stick with Loris Karius in goal for the Porto clash.

“To be honest I have not made the final decision but it is not the same situation as it was.

“A good one will play. That’s the plan. But I haven’t made the decision so far.”

Liverpool come into Wednesday night’s game in high spirits following their 2-0 win over Southampton in the Premier League.
