A classic Turkish Football video from 2007 has been circulating around social media this morning involving Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
Interest in the Istanbul derby peaked once again following Friday’s chaotic 30-man brawl following the final whistle.
However, its an infamous moment during an Istanbul Derby from back in 2007 which is doing the rounds on Twitter.
Fans throwing cups at opposition players was commonplace back in the 00s. Police eventually stepped in to stop the Fenerbache player from being hit by projectiles.
