Fenerbahce have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with both Josef de Souza and his club Sao Paulo.
Fenerbahce released a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange confirming they will pay €8 million to the Brazilian club as a transfer fee for the midfielder.

Josef de Souza will sign a four year contract with the club, financial details of the contract are yet to be disclosed.
The 26-year-old midfielder played for Portuguese giants Porto between 2011-2012 winning the Europa League and the Portuguese League title.
De Souza joined Gremio in 2013 and Sao Paulo the following season. The central midfielder has three international caps for the Brazil national team.
ESPN Brazil football pundit and commentator Gustavo Hofman believes that Fenerbahçe have made themselves an excellent transfer.
“Very good defensive midfielder, with high skills. Brazilian National Team level,” Hofman told Turkish-football.com.
“Souza is an excellent signing.”
Josef de Souza provided no assists and scored two goals in 30 appearances in all competitions for Sao Paulo last season.
