Fenerbahçe defender Egemen Korkmaz has made a full recovery and trained with the rest of the team at the Can Bartu grounds.

Korkmaz is set to return to first team football after spending 8 months on the sidelines with an injury.

The Turkish international defender suffered a knee injury in the final game of last season and had to undergo surgery.

The former Bursaspor and Trabzonspor player made 21 appearances for Fenerbahçe last season.

Korkmaz could play against Bursaspor on Monday 24 November 2014 but manager Ismail Kartal has yet to decide on whether the experienced defender is ready to return.

The 32-year-old joined Fenerbahçe on a free transfer from Beşiktaş in 2012.

Korkmaz has made a total of 63 appearances for the Yellow Canaries since joining.

The Yellow Canaries are currently first on goal difference in the Süper Lig with 19 points after 9 games.

Galatasaray are joint first but have a goal difference of +1 compared to Fenerbahçe’s +4/
