Fenerbahce Director Flies to England For Man United Talks Over Martial

Fenerbahçe are putting their transfer plans into overdrive, with a trip to England planned for board member Selahattin Baki according to Dirilis Postasi.

Baki reportedly flew to England for talks with West Ham United over Thilo Kehrer.

However, the report claims that Baki also has another mission and that is to hold talks with Manchester United regarding a potential January transfer for Anthony Martial.

Martial’s time at Old Trafford is ticking down. United’s decision to let his contract expire has resulted in Fenerbahçe eager to join the fray.

Baki reportedly met with West Ham boss David Moyes about German defender Thilo Kehrer, but Martial is the real prize in London.

The Frenchman’s struggles under Erik ten Hag haven’t dampened Fenerbahçe’s enthusiasm.

His experience and goal-scoring prowess – once on full display for United – are exactly what the Turkish giants crave.

Dirilis Postasi suggests Baki will personally meet with Martial to discuss a potential move, with finances being the key hurdle.

Fenerbahçe’s interest in Martial isn’t new, but with his future up in the air, this January window presents a golden opportunity.

Martial has two goals and two assists in 19 appearances in all competitions for United so far this season but has played just 629 minutes of first team football.

Fenerbahce are competing in both the domestic title race and European competition this season.
