Fenerbahce have learned their opponents for the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League group stage.

The Super Lig outfit have been draw against Manchester United, Rangers, and Bodo/Glimt, FC Porto, PAOK, Viktoria Plzen, FC Twente, FCSB.

The new format of the Europa League sees all 36 teams compete in a single league table. The top eight teams will qualify directly for the round of 16, while teams finishing between ninth and 24th will enter a knockout play-off round.

The Europa League will feature eight matches for each team, with two home and two away games. The Conference League clubs will play six matches, one from each pot.

The standout match for Fenerbahce is their trip to Manchester to face United.

Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho used to manage United so he will be returning to a familiar setting when the two sides face each other.

Mourinho won the EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League during his time in charge of the Reds.

The Portuguese manager took charge of the Yellow Canaries this summer and this will be his first European campaign at the helm. Fenerbahce dropped into the Europa League after being knocked out of the Champions League playoff stage.

The full schedule for the Europa League group stage will be announced on Saturday.
