Fenerbahce have joined the race to sign the Bursaspor centre back Serdar Aziz.
The Istanbul giants are in the market for a new centre back to replace Bruno Alves who is expected to leave in January.
The Portugal international has fallen out of favour with Fenerbahce manager Ismail Kartal following the red card he received against rivals Galatasaray.
Kartal has told the club President Aziz Yildirim that he would like a right footed centre back in January and that Serdar Aziz would be a perfect fit.
Galatasaray, Trabzonspor and Besiktas have all expressed an interest in Serdar in recent weeks. The 24-year-old defender has been in good form this season for Bursaspor and scored in Turkey’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Kazakhstan.
The highly rated centre back has three years remaining on his contract.
Serdar has made nine appearances for Bursaspor in the Turkish Super League this season.
