Fenerbahce have joined the race to sign River Plate’s highly rated centre back Eder Alvarez Balanta.
The Colombian international was closely linked with a move to Galatasaray in the summer but the two clubs were unable to agree upon a price.
Liverpool have been keeping tabs on the young defender but according to the Italian press, Juventus and Roma are in pole position.
The 21-year-old has been valued at €5 million by his Argentinian club.
Fenerbahce are in the market for a new centre-back after Bruno Alves received a red card in the Istanbul derby.
The Portuguese international has been told to find a new club and is expected to leave in January.
