Fenerbahce have offered Manchester United’s out-of-favour striker Robin van Persie a contract offer according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper have stated that Fenerbahce sporting director Giuliano Terraneo has offered the Netherland’s international a three-year deal.
The report goes onto state that talks between Terraneo and Van Persie have been ongoing for the past two weeks.

Terraneo is also in talks with Manchester United over the transfer of the Portuguese international winger Nani.
Van Persie has is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer and has stated that he does not want to spend the next season sat on the bench.
“It is my ambition to play as many games as possible. I feel fitter than ever,” Van Persie was quoted as saying by Goal.
“I will take everything into consideration when I decide on my future and I know I have to be realistic about the situation.”
Van Persie provided three assists and scored 12 goals in 31 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions this season.
Fenerbahçe finished the Süper Lig as runners up and booked a place in next seasons Champions League competition.
