Fenerbahçe have been linked with AC Milan centre back Philippe Mexes.
AC Milan are keen to sell the French international with his contract running out at the end of the season.
However, Fenerbahçe are only looking to loan the 32-year-old until the end of the season where they will make a decision whether to sign him on a free.
Fenerbahçe are on the hunt for a new centre back after manager Ismail Kartal reportedly cut ties with Bruno Alves following the red card he received against rivals Galatasaray in the Intercontinental derby.
Mexes has been left out of the squad by AC Milan manager Filippo Inzaghi and is yet to make an appearance for the Italian giants this season.
The former Roma defender has made 29 international appearances for France.
